I used the word "hispanic" because I was typing in English and it's how the U.S. classifies anyone that speaks spanish.

If the Spaniards had not come to this side of the world with their Christian ideologies, you and I may never have been born and Columbians would be speaking some native South American tongue instead of one of the many dialects of Spanish.
