You're right. the public grade schools here in the U.S. are horrible and half the students STILL don't graduate. lol
but if you have the money and want to pay for schooling, college or a university, the U.S. has some of the best to offer. what countries public school system is as "caring" as the u.s? from what i've heard the public school system in most countries is terrible.

and yes, this country was based on immigrants but that argument is played out.
that was CENTURIES ago.

i look more towards the future and I rather raise my children in this country, rather than ANY part of the world.
