So THAT'S what stinks up in the attic!
Pure Power Plant
Strain origin: South African sativas inbred since 1997. Original breeder I'm not sure of.
Line origin: This version comes from Nirvana Standard.
Type: Mostly sativa... doesn't act like it though!!
High type: Pleasant, cheerful, stronger than you expect for how smooth she cures up.
Flavor: Dank perfume, that doesn't come out until after a long cure.
Form: Looks like an indica, wtf!
Cultural notes: Another plant that loves pruning, although it was originally intended to be an ideal SOG variety. It sets beastly fat colas on VERY stiff stems. Training is virtually impossible unless you catch new shoots AS they form and run them out. I have to harvest mine for clones every other week JUST to keep her from getting too tangly and dense. I have never run her SOG, but a very respected grower friend used to personally swear by her for consistent production. People are still surprised when they smoke it and say, ??no way. THAT'S Power Plant??. Properly cured PPP is great stuff, but you'll never see it unless you do it yourself. A final note is her bag appeal. Closely set and numerous stalked trichs give her a furry look. PPP is suggested for neurological painkilling properties.
