    Hey, we did ours... IT TURNED OUT GREAT I COOKED A TURKEY...I AM STUFFED ON TURKEY RIGHT NOW....that's what gave me the idea to deep-fry Blink.... But would love to know about injectable marinades for next time......sorry to hijack.....:wtf:

    Dr. Pepper works, but it's too sweet for my taste.

    I like a paste of sauteed onion and garlic, blended with fresh sage, rosemary, black pepper, and a touch of salt, brought to the consistency of thin pesto with a combination of olive oil and just a TOUCH of white wine.
    I don't 'DO' lemony turkey either.

    put a chicken to soak in Italian salad dressing, for a couple days before cooking (keep in the fridge, of course) ... :jointsmile:

    It's not a recipe per se. It's just something I threw together once and keep doing- I don't have numbers for proportions or anything...
    Remember? I'm a DIRT grower... you hydro people need a fucking dilution manual for everything, lol!!!!!!

    Reaper I will try that one as well....48 hours soaking enough? .I'm going to start a deep-fry thread in the recipe section so that I stop taking over Stinky's growing thread...any tips for deep frying baking potatoes (how long do they take?) also appreciated.
