This is from the X-Games Thursday. Jake Brown from Australia takes a 50 foot fall. The clip is nearly 3 & 1/2 minutes but near the end are some must see slow motion shots of Jake's massive crash. I don't know how he's not dead.

fucking hell that is brutal, he does all the right things thouh and tries to take it with his legs. the guy is definately a hero.

yeah i watched that live on tv. i almost shit myself when it happened.

i actually started jumping up and down in excitement.

it was funny when he was getting off the ramp u can see him mouth the words "what happened."

I remember awhile back when a guy attempted a backflip in motorcross

the was a long fall as well...he broke a lot of ribs...

Im suprised this guy walked away from that...

He was definately out of breath for a long time after that fall

Well, that makes my mind up.

Before I personally compete again in a skateboarding event like that, I'm asking for a small parachute. Or guide wires. Something. And I'm going to super-glue my shoes on, too. Footage like that affects everyone in skateboarding. Y'all just think you've heard the real story of how I ended up in a cervical collar after spinal surgery!

super glue your shoes, that would be even worse, that happened cus he had way too much speed after pumping up the tranny so he got the speed wobbles. if he were strapped he'd probably have gone off at an angle and landed in the crowd. mighta been less painfull tho

that 720 was pretty sick though. it got me all excited and then when i saw him fall my cup runeth over with joy. lol ive never said that before it sounds real lame.
