    -soil

-Soil type/brand - JOHN INNES POTTING COMPOST No.1 with a layer of stone things at the bottom for airation

Thanks for the advice, here are some more pics.

The soil does appear to be very dry on the second day when I usually water it.

Not sure about the bug thing, looks more like a deficiency but I could be wrong.

    Thanx again

Next time its dry Re-pot it in to a 2-3 gal. pot and flush out the plant with un-chlorinated water with the pH adjusted to 6.3 and keep flushing until you have put 10 times as much water as you have soil in the new pot. on the vary last flush use half strength nute solution and wait until its dry before you water again.

OH GOOD LORD do you have thrips but good.
Yup that plant is super rootbound and most of your stress problems are related to that, and your high pH.
There's a great agway product, I'm attaching a pic, that is pH PERFECT for cannabis. Mix it with 30-40% perlite.
You also need to pick up some bug spray. Since you are in veg, you can use the bonide rotenone with pyrethrins product, but do it NOW because the thrips are outta fuckin CONTROL. Wow.

Because I am the Queen of Bug Infestation... fucking thrips... I have been battling them for 2 years organically, and this year gave up and went with the big guns (rotenone) and never looked back.

    http://boards.cannabis.com/plant-pro...74-thrips.html
for size reference, a dime would fit on that leaf, side to side(not length-wise) A single thrip is highlighted in the two red circles(view full image)

Stinky, are the black dots around the damage poo, or eggs?
