Tell you what I am running 8 42w 24/7 right now (VEG) and I have notices a little bit more on my bill. But it also depends on what state you live in also. So the added cost may vary.

for veg i run 6 23 w daylights and 3 3' tubes for side lighting....with 2 fans going and 24/7 lighting. my bill went up about three dollars, and i'm not even sure if that was because i was growing a mj bush in my closet.

The easy way to figure this is to see how much one kilowatt hour is and then decide how long it takes for the lights to use 1KW. CFLs and fluorescents don't use a whole lot of energy, so it shouldn't make much of a difference if you're only running 5. Say you use 200W total, it would take 5 hours to use 1KW. If you run your lights 24 hours a day, you're using about 5KW per day. Take that times your KWH cost and viola; your daily cost.

I run 14 26W(100W rated) on 12/12 cycle for the last 2 months and my power bill actually went down 7$ a month because I swapped some lights in the house with cfl's that were on 24 hours a day.

i run a 400w hps and have the exhaust fan running on a 16/8 cycle with a air pump and my bill went up 4 bucks not to bad i think

ive noticed my bill go up 150 with a 600 watt hps and 400 watt mh. thats even before i installed my ac. now i wonder how much its going to be,
