Waisting my time?

Hello I'm another newbie, I've been given 3 plants and they haven't started flowering yet and its already August. They are still kinda small. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance (by the way I haave them outside)

how big are they and do you have any idea how old the plants are and what strain? you really didnt give much info but you may not know if they was given to you.
its still early and they probably will flower but you may have to harvest a little early if the weather gets to cold but they can usually withstand a light frost outdoors so you still have time for them to flower.

theres still a good solid 3 months of growing left, if there over 2 feer tall, you still have plenty of time for them to grow and flower.

Cannabis is a light sensitive plant. This is why folks who grow indoors put their plants under 12/12 lighting to get them to flower. June 21st is the longest day of the year. The days are now getting shorter. When the days get short enough, your plants will flower. Be patient! - Granny:hippy:

Alright, 2 of the plants are about 1 1/2 ft tall and kinda skinny, the other is about 1 ft tall and getting quite bushy. From what I have read I still can't determine sex but am hoping that I have at least 1 female. Thanks to those who replied so quickly its nice to be part of a organization who appreciates weed as much as I do...
