What do you prefer, being lonely (single) or "with" someone?

    Simple question.
I've learned a lot about myself from the year or so I've been single but it sucks. I know what I can offer......
Anyways, some people tell me it's better to be single and lonely cause you have no boundries and all that. and of course, being in a good relationship has it's obvious benefits
    (I miss them)

so what'll it be? single or in a good relationship?

haha single and lonely, you don't gotta be lonely just cause you're single.

I wouldn't know since I've only been single but I'd pick that 'cause it'd just be easier 'n you wouldn't have to deal with drama or have your heart broken or nothin'

yea, you're right frivolous. Alone is a much better word.

but there are single people that would consider it lonely.

Since 6th grade I have been on and off with a girl with the looks of an angel but personality of a devil.(long story) We broke up before my sophmore year of college. I am now going into my 3rd year and just recently (3months ago) Entered back into a relationship. And i love it. I mean being single is fo sho fun for a while but you do get bored & lonley. After about 8 months of being single you get sick of it. This new girl puts limits on me so I cannot be the craziy partier i use to be. And thats a good thing because im slowly but surely getting my life established. I was a dirty dog, but noww im a straight puppy..LOL

I prefer being with someone. I feel like such a loser when i'm single and get rejected. I'm really happy with my g/f, we've been together nearly 4 months now, which is the longest i've ever been in a relationship.

well damn... of course i prefer being with someone... but i have speant the better part of my adult life working, training and being too busy... i have probably ignored miss right 100 times...

i would rather be single than be in a bad relationship... and i would much rather be in a good relationship than single... i good partner can make EVERYTHING better

I would much rather be in a committed relationship.

I think everyone needs to be single for a while to learn who they really are, and whats important to them. When you're too busy trying to please someone else, you lose sight of your own needs.

But, when you know who you are as a person, and are happy with that, you can truly love someone else.

A relationship is all about compromises...it's a give and take kinda thing. It's not easy or perfect all the time, but when you love someone with all of your heart, you want to make it work.
