    Vegetarian vegans...raw food eaters

So, i myself am not a vegitarian. Still i try not to eat a lot of red meat b/c it makes my stomach too full....i usually stick with fish or chicken and lots of veggies. Don't get me wrong, i do eat the occasional burger...yummmy, lol
I want to know if anyone here is very PRO or ANTI on the subject. Most people i've meet with this life style are very...erm....not to offend, but, intense about it. Kinda like a vegi beater, haha. Do you peoples think dropping the meat and dairy would better a persons' life/health?

Well I do know a few vegetarians and two vegans but the main reason is because they dont believe in killing animals for food because they have just as much a right to be alive as we do but its however you see it really, everyone has their own opinion some people dont eat any animals apart from fish and some wont even drink milk or anything (vegan) but one thing i have NEVER seen is a overweight or even slightly fatv vegetarian, Im sure everyone has to agree with me on this one, I would say that yes you would be a lot healthier but your body also needs some of the things you get from meet especially red meet. I tried becoming a vegetarian once but its not as easy you start to miss all the foods most vegetarians started when they were small raised that way by their parent(s).

I've seriously considered becoming a vegetarian after hearing the horror stories of how the animals are treated. I love vegetables, and I don't really eat much meat anyway, so I don't think it would be that difficult. I think the hardest part would be just getting use to not eating the same things anymore.

I definetly couldn't be a vegan, because I love cheese...on just about anything really

I think that vegetarianism as an ecological goal is a very sound approach. I don't really try to get involved wiht the cruelty arguments- I think we should be most concerned about sustainability.
I'm concerned that meat farming isn't sustainable. The amount of land and feed that it takes to raise a cow could far more efficiently be used to grow soybeans, vegetables, and HEMP!!!
I think that among animal protein sources, yoghurt and eggs are AMAZINGLY nutritious and still ecologially sound.
While I absolutely LOVE steak (I made the bext ribeyes I've ever eaten this week for a special occasion), I consider it a bit of a treat, and try to use black beans, cheese, and eggs for my daily protein sources, with a bit of chicken and fish here and there.

I'm always amazed at how many people like the idea of vegetarianism but how few actually bother to use that opinion when they decide what they want to put in their mouths.

I have not eaten meat, nor had the desire to, in many years. Once you actually live the vegetarian life, you realize just how disgusting that crap is.

    ^^ lol.

as for me i wouldn't want to become a vegetarian because i eat meat everyday whether it be beef, pork, chicken or the occasional fish. that lifestyle just wouldn't fit me thats all really.

"if you're here tonight and you're a vegetarian.... shut up! you aren't gonna recruit me. i didn't climb to the top of the food chain to eat fucking carrots" - ron white

"i was with a friend and he told me he felt sick, said that soup must have had beef broth in it. 'you're systems kicking back... broth? you're a manly man aren't you?'" - ron white
i love meat... i can actually be satasified with nothing but just a huge plate of meat... a couple steaks, a big ass rack of ribs... mmm...... i'm not quite as enthusiastic as onequestion... but it's pretty close....

oh and don't cook the shit out fo it either... that ruins it... the farthest i'll ever go (atleast with beef) is medium... if it ain't bleedin' it ain't worth eatin'
