Hello All,
First, I just want to say thanks for all the information in advance. Everybody's contribution in some way or another is going to assist in my passing a U.A....... hopefully.
It's been brought to my attention that I've been selected for a "random" drug test of which is currently 34 hours 45 minutes away. As of 7:00 Friday morning this week, I will have to take the dreaded whiz quiz. I've always been a fan of cannabis.com, used it for reference on many other issues, so I wanted to take the time to document this to the fullest so perhaps somebody else may not have to sweat it as much as I am right now. It feels as though somebody is standing on my chest I'm so stressed out.
Lets get this started...
I'm 24, weight-215 Height 5'9". BMR is about 2200 and BMI is around 30. I can remember that my last PBR, (personal bong rip) was around 10 pm ish on the 26th of JUNE, around the same time my buddy got "selected" and made me aware of the possibility of falling into the same boat, which would put my test at around day 38 of complete abstinence from the doja.
I'm one of the heaviest hitters I know, a true daily smoker, say... about half a zipper a week of the illest, frosty colorado greens. I am the epitome of a typical dude smoker, not a lot of strenous activities and not a health nut by any means..hah. That being said.....

3 hours ago I purchased a test for THC only from Walgreens, $16.00 (Athomedrugtest.com) seemed reasonable enough. I took it, passed, even though the line was extremely faint but prevelant, and complete from one side to the other, I've always heard mixed reviews about the at home tests.
I still want to try and make sure to the best of my ability, w/o substition, or a cathoder piss swap, or special drink or additive, that I pass the test. I feel the dillution method might be best but definetly cannot, and I mean cannot, have a rejection from a "Diluted Sample" come back from the lab!!! Zero Tolerance!!!!
I've read for hours about how long metabolites can stay in the system, when to start drinking sports drinks and how much (im gonna go w/ vitamin water), large doses of b2, creatinin level asbortion rates, asprin doses, mid stream samples, etc. etc. etc. and consider myself very informed but not an expert like FBR or N2.
I'm still in the dark about when and how I should approach eating before the test and would like for somebody to enlighten me, i.e. my body starting to eat away at fat and in turn, hightening the chance of a positive test result. Also, I've heard mixed reviews about sugars and foods w/ carbs, unsure about that as well. I have all day Thursday to prepare my body and have started eating red meat tonight to help w/ creatin absorbtion issues.
I plan to stay up all night Thursday and into Friday morning since the test is so early or at least wake up at 5 to get a few pissers going and some fluid intake before the exam. As for the asprin and tums and liquid amounts, I'm also unsure but hope to have it pinned out by tomorrow evening.
Either way, I will document everything that I've put and will put into my body before Friday morning. Times and amounts, everything!!!! Most importantly, I will keep viewing what people have to say and then lastly, how the test results work out. I have a physical right after and if you fail the test, you then you have to come back for the physical later. When in reality, they never have you come back. So it'll be almost instantanious if I turn up positive and have to have it sent off for verification.
Drop a post just to give me your thoughts, odds of passing, or just to comment on the situation. I'll be adding a lot to this and hopefully by Friday afternoon my last post will consist nothing but a "PASSED with flying colors" comment. I know this will help somebody as I'm just a regular joe schmo toker to the max, a true demographic!!!!!
Personally, I'm 50/50......... so lets hear what you've got to say.

ok, not too much preparation at this point.....
stopped with the red meat as I'm kinda sure at this point the creatin wouldn't be absorbed and turned into what they're measuring for.... maybe thats right, maybe not we''ll get to that later.
Breakfast : over easy eggs, on buttered toast w/ cheese salt, pepper.
About 8 oz of V8 Fruit Fusion
8 oz of water
Plan on popping some vitamins ( will give amounts later ) and drinking some fluids to see if 2-4 hrs would be long enough to get some color in my piss. Will take around 1 and keep checking till 5pm to mimic tomorrow's test time. I figure if I get up or stay up and start around 3 am that I'll be good to go for my 7 am pisser.

quick excerpts about loading up w/ creatine-
The question then became how long this loading period had to be. It turns out not to be that long at all. Harris gave his study subjects 30 grams of creatine per day, which by today's standards is a very high dose, even for the loading phase. Study participants weighed around 80 kg (175 lb) and engaged in only light exercise during the course of the study. Harris found that the muscles could only absorb so much creatine. After the maximum level had been reached, the excess amount was converted into a waste product called creatinine and excreted in the urine. Harris discovered that on the first day of supplementation 40 percent of the administered dose was excreted. This amount rose to 61 percent on the second day, and 68 percent on the third day. So by Day Three, two-thirds of the creatine consumed was wasted!
Some liquids are better than others for creatine consumption. Glucose polymer drinks or those with dextrose or maltodextrin are good choices. This is because the shuttle system used to transport creatine into the muscle fibers involves insulin, and these forms of "simple" sugars activate this mechanism quickly. Fruit juices are also good options. Although juices contain fructose, a sugar that is absorbed somewhat slower than glucose and dextrose, juices are assimilated relatively quickly, so they are perfectly acceptable as creatine vehicles. They may be more convenient, too. You could also mix your creatine with a combination protein/carbohydrate drink, although the protein content of the drink will slow the assimilation of the creatine compared to glucose or fructose alone.
Athletes have sometimes been told to avoid mixing citrus juices such as orange juice with creatine. The reason given is that the acidity in these juices boosts the production of creatinine, which is the waste product of creatine metabolism. However, creatinine is formed in the muscles, not in a glass. Moreover, the citric acid in orange and grapefruit juices is insignificant compared to the concentrated hydrochloric acid found in the stomach.

I'm 5'10" 240, passed after quitting for a month, even with a cheat hit in between, did the dilution method in this forum and passed...and I was cronic.
I think you're in the same boat and you should be fine...but definitely dilute as you've started and keep us posted.

i've been reading more and more and a lot of people seem to be under the assumption that its wise to eat before so as to not set your body into a fat burning scenario. I think that makes sense but am no nutritionist or dr. by any means.
Also, seen a lot of references to Tums and Salts, not sure what effect if any they'd have. Unfortunately, only after weeding through dumb question after dumb question when the knowledge was presented in the first post on some of these stickys. It's suprising.
If you happen to read this and are thinking about posting a question along the lines of "will i pass, i smoked this morning and have a u.a. later today but will drink lots of vinegar with goldseal and my blah blah blah" stop! and punch yourself in the groin.
READ those sticky's they help!!!!! I'm doing the dillution method to the "T" and unlike most posts I've seen, i've had a couple weeks time to stop but know that I'm a huge toker, overweight, lazy, and am borderline. Hopefully, there are other people out there who are also borderline and in the same boat and find this useful.
2nd, I'm not going to exercise. I know i burn about 2000 calories just sitting on the couch but a day before the test i'm going to remain fat and lazy so as to not draw out any more metabolites prompting a postivie result.
This is intended to be a learning opportunity as much as a reference, so if you see something wrong or i'm misinformed about a subject, please say something. I asure you I will not be offended. Even though it'll be much to late for me it'll def. help somebody.

12:30 Thursday
going to do an experiment to see how my urine will appear w/ all these fluids and vitamins in my system. Going to pretend I have a test at 5:00 pm and will view the color then.
Ingesting 4 asprin now followed w/ 16 oz water.
At 2:00 I will start drinking a lot more water (48oz) Follow up w/ 1/2cup intervals everytime I piss at about 20-30 minute incriments.
At 3:30 i will take my B Complex vitamins and try to make sure I'll piss atleast 3-4 times up until my 5:00 viewing sample. until then......

after consuming the asrpin, 48 oz h2O, then the vitamins, and all the stuff i stated earlier it wasn't till the 4th void that color started to come back. I'm not sure if all the liquid I did drink had just cleared or the vitamins actually worked. At 3:00 I was finished drinking all voids up to the 4th were very clear, slightly yellow, not very though. Then about an hour and 15 min later I had my 4th void wich looked as though it was starting to head back to my normal color. The 5th and 6th void between 5 and 530 were a lot similiar to my begining samlple that I kept as a control for color comparison.
After my fluids were down, I was pretty regular with voids between 15 and 25 minutes apart. After the 4th void it was about 45 minutes in between from piss to piss.
Tomorrow I'll try and get up around 5ish and start pumping fluids prior to my 7:00 date with the piss cup. Idealy, I'd like to give my 5th or 6th sample of the morning to them but we'll see how it works.
Lunch consisted of a couple of hot dogs, water, and a double quater pounder...($1.08) couldn't resist.
Dinner tonight was sheppards pie- mashers, corn, groundbeef, and cheese.
Today was pretty mellow, no real activity or excercise, tried to be as calm as possible but still stressed about tomorrow.....
I'll be sure and let you know how it turns out.

Well I see you are taking advantage of the eating big suggestion!
You know sports drinks are preferred over water as the salt in them will help keep up your specific gravity, one of the validity tests. That is also the reason behind the tums and adding salt to the sports drink.
If it is a lab test the B-2 is really not necessary but now you know how long it will take before the B-2 starts to work.
It seems you figured out the diet, low fat with low to normal calories until the day or two before the test then you eat high fat and normal to slightly higher calories. Fiber can be helpful throughout the whole process up until the test.
You may need to replace what you void if you don't time it right.
I think you are set on everything else. After you take the test you will be like "I should have subbed and not have stopped smoking."

I was hoping to hear from you on this matter. I'm worried about the fiber a little since I had an apple just now but other than that we'll see how it works.... Is the fiber to help w/ excrement production to rid metabolites? Also, what does the asprin do? Last, do you think I should eat around 4 or 5 in the morn. just to keep from getting into fat burning mode??? Just curious... appreciate your feedback.
The big thing about substitution was that I have a physical right after I pass and disposing of the evidence was an issue w/ just a robe on and since it's my first UA i have no idea what to expect. However, I"m sure your right. The first couple weeks were shitty with all the dreams (crazy crazy dreams) and jonesing for a binger but, hopefullly it'll pay out and tomorrow after I hear back from the boss by noon if i passed the physical, if i make to the physical, i'll be tokin a grande in honor of all your posts!!! hahah
