i havent smoked for 5 months and im depressed

basically i got charged with possession of concetrated cannabis in march, and i got released from jail under supervised release where i have to go in and provide a urine sample every week untill my court case is resolved....now that i cant smoke i realize why i started smoking in the first place zoloft, prozac and all the other meds i was prescribed for depression are all garbage. i feel like such a piece of shit on xanax too it doesnt even help. i feel like i dont care about anything when im on SSRI's.

weed used to help me cope with my anxiety/depression so much it always gave me a positive outlook on life and i functioned on it so well carrying out my life like anyone else. but now without it for 4 months i honestly feel so desperate....

I live in california, im really starting to think i am a good candidate for a prescription

yeah it sounds like you could easily get a MMJ card. Are you still in the process of going through court and all that? Im pretty sure you can contact NORML and they could help out with a lawyer.

Go for it!!! A friend of mine was on probation and was still allowed to smoke since he was a legal MMJ patient. The worst that happens is that you are stuck where you are now! In the meantime, take "B" vitamins and Omega-3, get some exercise, take a walk in the park, and do something nice for someone! I wish you luck! - Granny:hippy:

You absolutely sound like you need to get in touch with a MD. Go see a group like Aldridge (AldridgeMedical.com), they will connect you with a doctor who is compassionate to your situation. If you're not in close proximity of Aldridge, there are different options in your area that are compassionate.
