aight so today my friend put crushed ice in his bong 'n I took a hit before he put water in and said "damn that hits better than with water" (as I was previously hitting it before we decided to put crushed ice/water in it) so we ended up filling the rest with ice and having a session with that. I swear it worked better than water, at least in his bong.

So fill your bongs with crushed ice and tell me if that does not hit better than with water.

yea i do that sometimes, but usually i put water in with the ice just so it filters more

you mean filter out bad stuff? or like so the water and ice cools it? If it goes through just ice it'll wanna be cold as the ice, but if it goes through water it will wanna be as cold as water, 'n I think ice water is what most people use, as opposed to my idea of using pure ice.

oh yeah my friend is gonna freeze salt water because it freezes at a lower temp 'n we'll be experimenting with that...holy shit I am "experimenting" with pot!

yeah i use water to filter out the bad stuff but in the winter i use no water, just snow

crushed ice is a good idea
be careful when using cubed ice my buddy broke the slider shit putting ice in his bong which sucked because that was the only smoking utencil we had so we had to carve an apple pipe
but yea ice is the shit in bongs

i just did it and it hits cooler but i dont think it really filters anything

i always just put ice cold water in and stuff it full with ice. I dont really see a difference with or without the water. I keep the water in there though for filtration purposes. Plus the bubbling sound makes me happy.

I'm a fan of pure snow, or pure crushed ice. The Water ice mix doesn't really do it for me. Everyonce in a while i'll use a hot flavored tea though. I'm a fan of that.
