just practice. To me, rolling joints is all about feel and personal technique.

It was too tight cuz whoever rolled it didnt know what they were doing

I have a rolling machine it works very well the only problem is I usually have to cut my papers down as they are too long for the machine (it rolls relatively small joints)

I think part of smoking a j is knowing that you crafted a sweet ass joint when you are smoking it. Its like an art, and a rolling machine takes away from that. Although, it does make perfect joints. But its not a perfect world...

if you are rolling a joint... buy a rolling machine, great investment... learn to roll with blunts... alot easier, and way more durable
