Any advice on first grow keepsake?

Hi all, This is actually the "second" grow because the first was ripped up at 3 weeks by someone (don't know who even had access to it).

Anyway, now at 2 1/2 months, and I am looking at some very healthy and absolutely gorgeous Super Silver Haze as well as Kali Mist. Started indoor hydro (custom setup) then moved outdoor at 1 month (which for some reason sped up the grow rate almost double what it had been). The plants are several feet tall and look unbelievably happy. The larger fan leaves are quite big - 8-12cm in width, blades even longer. Some trimmed fan leaves (a few with 5 and 7 blades) were put to press like a flower to remember the grow after harvest. Now that they are about half grown, I am curious whether anyone else has anything they do (or has ideas) to remember a memorable grow like pressed leaves, etc (lots of pictures of course). I am hoping the leaves turn out well, they look great now. Since I have never seen any plants get this far, I am thrilled at how they are doing and want something to remember them by, especially since the genetics are so respectable and hard to come by (there is a lot to be said for a HT Cup winning strain:thumbsup.

save leaves then press, keep them in wax paper or something better. pics in a few i promise we are on the way to the beach.

vacuum seal, or laminate a few leaves.... you could do something creative with the stem... hmmmmmmmm

u cud laminate them then make a chain from then, or like one of those things where you dont have a door but u put like beads, u cud make one outta leaves. that would look sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

just pics of a book. no ideas on art projects though.maybe varnish them to the top of a nice little box and save for yourself. even better varnish them to the inside of the box so only you can see it.

You could make a frame for a good pic. out of a few thick pieces of stalk, and maybe a laminated "border" of leaves!

Whatever type or kind of collage' a person wanted to make can be sealed permanently with two-part epoxy poured over the surface. Ya know, like those log slices with pics on em. Some of them are made into clocks. So, one idea would be to arrange all your favorite pics of the grow in a pleasing arrangement, with a few leaves thrown on for authenticity, onto a piece of wood. Then mix up a quart of epoxy resin with a quart of epoxy hardener, and just slowly pour it over your newly created artwork.

Just in case your not familiar with it, you can find GOOD epoxy at any good woodworking supply place whether it be a brick and mortar store, or online.

Great stuff everyone! I really appreiate it. The epoxy idea sounds like a really cool idea since I have tons of pics, plus plenty of fan leaves that are pressed (I figured "might as well press the trimmings" - no point in wasting anything, and if things got really tight they could still be a desperate toke!). After taking some clones I think using the stems for something is another great idea. Not sure which way to go there but there should be enough to do just about whatever. I know someone who makes custom clothes; I'm not sure if you can get hemp fibers from *sativa* stems, but if so, being able to actually "wear" a grow would be a really sweet way to use the stems (be uncomfortable on bare skin though I'm sure - I'm not really into the whole hemp clothing thing, but if it were from personal fibers...)! Plus I'm sure it would take a lot... maybe a hat or something small? Thanks again, and I posted a pic from a few weeks ago above. Enjoy! And they don't have to be *really* creative, just some way of preserving a little small portion of the experience for memories...
