Yeah, I got my teaching accreditation too, and I'm in total agreement in that communication is the main goal of writing. That's why there are accepted practices like grammar, punctuation, and spelling. The writing loses all it's power when you have to spend time trying to figure out what they're trying to say instead of using that time to give thought to the idea being written. That's why it grinds my gears. That, I think, was stating the obvious though, but apparently not. You're cool Granny and thanks again.

Why does everyone assume that you have to speak perfect English some of the greatest cookbooks in the world were written by people who could only speak Swahili.
