Logic isn't fun. Imagination is fun. You can assume that everything is rational and can be backed up by science, or you can live a little and let your mind believe in hidden wonders of the world - what's the harm in that?

So you're saying ghosts are just a figment of your imagination? I would agree with you on that one.

There's nothing wrong with having an active imagination, but you need to have some grasp of what is real and what is imaginary. There is a difference, and it's an important one if you want to make informed decisions about your life. For instance, if I imagine I have a million dollars buried in your backyard, that could be a fun daydream. But if I start to confuse my daydreams with my reality, I might make some really unwise investments before I dig into the yard and realize that objective reality is something other than imagined reality.

You say logic isn't fun like imagination is. That doesn't matter to me. I don't believe logical things because I think I'll be happier that way. I believe logical things because I am literally incapable of doing anything else. My brain won't let me believe in ghosts or a million dollars buried in my backyard unless I actually have some good evidence that this is the case. Try convincing yourself right now that there really is a million dollars buried in your backyard. Try to actually really believe it is true. You can't, can you? Neither can I. I can't believe in ghosts and spirits for that same reason. It just seems so incredibly unlikely that I'd need to be shown some good evidence before my brain will accept it as part of reality.
