CNN just reported the "5 cigs= 1joint study" this morning. I'm curious to see how much media coverage this 1 study gets,as opposed to how litte coverage, the numerous studies that show the beneficial effects of marijuana receive. Im also waiting for the results of the study showing the relationship between marijuana usage and run-on sentences.

I dont think it has actually been proven that it kills cancerous cells. I mean chemists have been trying for years and years to find a compound that does. I think if THC was this magical the scientists would be able to use it to virtually eliminate all cancerous cells in a person.

THC cancels out the effect that tar has on cells, I dont beleive this. It isnt possible for it to be that straight forward.

I think weed is as good as the next person I just think that it isnt possible that cannabis smoke cannot cause cancer.

What does cancer do if it's not treated? It spreads... eventually he had it all over his body (lungs, stomach, brain, skin...)... not just his brain.
