well, personally i loved the ending... it was just creepy.... becaues near the end he thought he was crazy, but also thoght he was right... then he plays the tape and finds out once and for all he was, and at the same time proved to his wife he was right....

wasn't uncliamatic to me at all... i think the definition of climatic has decreased greatly in the last 5-10 years....

i also bleieve it is left wide open for a 2nd... i mean... it was an evil room and the hotel didn't burn down.... i'm sure there was alot of pain involved... but the room is still there....

if you ask me... honestly i think there will be a se ond and it will pick up from that tape recording... maybe not right when he played it... but he will be the world famous person who documented an actual ghost and another non believer wil be drawn to that room (remember, it only got scorched, not destroyed)

i mean creepy to me si finding out it wasn't some fantasy all along (which is how quite a few 'scary' movies have been in the past years...

it makes you think everythign is ok, and was probably fake all along.. then at the last second proves it wasn't....

if they didn't have a number 2 in the production line i'm sure there would have been alot more discussion near the end...

but i do respect peoples opinions... i'm not saying you're wrong... i'm just saying i think i am right in this instance...

dude the end had me fucked up i just watched it and thought it was a great movie im scared to go to sleep hahah not jk but it did confuse me was he smirkin at the end as if he was evil?
