ok i know it's possible to allow only certain people private messages... i really think we should be able to send pms to that mod through this site... sometimes it can be burdensome to go to email, which is probably why only a select few ever report anything that's against the rules.


not only would enabling beign able to pm mods and mods only solve alot of the 'i got banned how do i find a mod' thing... but i'd think it'd be much more efficient...

i mean afterall, we are stoners, so we're inherentedly lazy... if you could just send a pm to a mod about 'bad threads' i think people would report them alot more then they do.... not only would it encourage more people to participate in it, but it'd make it easier on the mods, as wel as getting 'trash' off our site much faster...

and yes, i realize if we had that capability that mods might be instantly spammed with bs... but if they're going ot get spammed they'll be spammed on PM's just as much as email... so i odn't see that being a factor...

anyways, just a suggestion from me.... i consider myself a mini mod as well as others, and it'd be alot easier if we could just pm mods instead of having to go to our email account, and wait fo ra mod to finally read the message (i will admit however they are very good and checking that... i'm guessing cuz they know they have a job to do.... but still)

it'd make things alot easier...

Yeah obvsiouly its a good idea because it would make things a lot easier and quicker and cut down on those "help i got banned" threads etc but I think that also the mods would get a lot of shit through PM's and most of it being shit they dont need like having a go at them, asking for things and grnerally being annoying lol.

Yeah that is what I was going to say. On vBulletin boards there is usually an exclamation mark inside the triangle to report bad posts. I think I read that the report bad posts feature was removed. I think this is much better than PM's at this time. It seems the server is too busy right now to begin with, much less if it had to handle PM's. Of course this might not have anything to do with the server being busy.

i think they just added that feature...because i've never noticed this before...but there's a little "!" image next to the "rep" button for every post

^^^^ that's an idea too...

but realize something guys... they're goign ot get that message reguardless.... the only question is where they are able to recieve it... it'd be easier for both us and the mods if if it could be done through the site exclusively... not to mention it'd be quicker then email since i'm sure the mods don't (or don't want to atelast) sit there refreshing the inbox page over and over waiting for a report....

instead they could just scroll up see they got a message and look...

and yes it does have it's ownfalls i'm not saying it doesn't... just trying ot make things easier on all of us.
