The first time I did a psychotropic substance that I am unable to mention here, was in front of my mom... It kicked in during the news, and instead of feeling guilty about it (I was using it at the time to treat a horrendous spinal headache after a spinal tap) it REALLY helped me, and I enjoyed it much better.

It's YOUR brain. Whatever neurochemical reactions you want to create in it is up to YOU. Don't be afraid of people's thoughts on your neurotransmitions. I say go for it, and ENJOY IT.

The fact that you are asking the question "Is it OK to be high at a family event" is just the Reagan era propoganda melting your brain. That tells me your family obviously wouldn't approve, but it's not really a question of morality, rather general judgment.

Is it moral to stay out past your curfew? Is it moral to binge and then purge, or just starve yourself? These (including smoking - weed or cigarettes) are amoral. They may have a detrimental affect on your health to some degree, which makes them a health issue, not one of morals.

Morality might rear its ugly head when your five year old niece, who you already know before hand needs lots of attention, gets ignored by you at the movie she's all excited about and shouldn't be watching because you're to stoned (ie - selfish) and let me tell you, she'll remember it. The devil is in the details.

Well last night my dad, during dinner, asked me if I wanted to go with himself, my step-mom and my two step-brothers, who are a yr. younger than me, to see the new Simpsons movie tonight. (I'm 19) Anyways, I said sure, because I want to see that really bad, but I really wanted to go see the movie stoned as hell

My dad doesnt know I smoke, even though I do without him knowing, as I know this is disrespectfull in some people's beliefs, but I also smoke cannabis for a personal medicinal reason. Anyways, do you think it would be ok for me to smoke a bowl or two of some blueberry kush:thumbsup: out of my little one-hitter just to get a good buzz? With visine, most people cant tell I'm high, as my only tell is I get glossy eyes.:hippy::rasta: I know some people might be like "Dude its just weed, just wait till you get home to do that shit" but I think watching it buzzed would make watching the SIMPSONS ALOT BETTER
