Okay i was reading the unkown ancient sacred geometry thread when i came across something. The free masons. I know my grandfather was one but i have really no idea what the entails. could anyone explain?

Masonry is not a religion, however most all of its degree work and ritual is directly from the Bible. Yes there is a lot of symbolism. They cannot recruit new members, you have to ask a mason to become one. Shriners are Masons also, as well as dozens of other Masonic affiliated organizations, like Eastern Star, Rainbow for Girls, Jobs Daughters, DeMolay, etc.

There is an incredable amount of information about the Masons and Masonic Orders on the 'net. Masonry itself is not secret, there are only a few signs, words, and tokens that are held secret.

lol do you really need to create a thread asking what freemasonry is?

You could just type it into google and find enough information you could write a 50,000 word thesis on freemasons and their history.
