A Troubleshooting form! Yay! You know you wanted one!

rusty, how about method for checking if your plants need water in the soil section? i know this might be a bit much.

also, in the hydro section, how about res temp?

that's the only things i saw.

i think it's awesome. sorry i didn't know your were gonna make one or i wouldn't have started another thread.

what about lighting schedule and and color spectrum? the spectrum might be a bit nit picky.

just trying to be productive. if i said something that's there i just missed it and disregard.

Hey peeps, Lots of 'my plant is sick' questions as always... and I realize that a lot of new growers aren't even fully aware of the types of things that they need to take into consideration when asking for advice, so I made a list of the common ones. If you have a problem, go ahead and cut-and-paste this list into your post to make it easier for the growers here to help you. Don't worry about answering every question, but the more information you give, the faster and more accurately Rating: 5

Great troubleshooting form rewrite. I can see that a novice (or non-native English speaker) might find it easier than the coded form.

A Troubleshooting form! Yay! You know you wanted one!

Since I had a couple of days of free time lately, I came up with these revised* troubleshooting forms. (one for soil, one for hydro)
If you would kindly copy the appropriate section, (hydro or soil...not both) and post it into your own thread, and answer the questions.
The answers you provide to this form will help other's to get the full picture, and be better able to diagnose the problem. Answer all questions as best you can. Missing answers may lead to an inaccurate diagnosis and treatment plan.
    Good luck to ya...

If they copy and paste, they can easily provide answers after each question. At least I'd think so...and the easier they make us understand their circumstances, the better the chance of their success. (neatness counts, and detention if work not shown) Answers in bold would be nice, too. Easier to scan the list.

But if history is any indication, it'll get filled out many different ways. Sort of a quasi Rorschach test, lol.

Well, someone with outdoor experience could likely throw one together with more insight than I, but it's a damn good Idea and I'm bummed I didn't think of it. <sticks tongue out at phatsesh>

Umm...I personally don't mind, but I'd ask a mod before doing so...I guess. Seems it would be the right thing to do.

Res temp is L. on the list, but no...didn't do the ph'ing the rockwool one.

Am curious why FBR never answered my request for guidance regarding this project. I asked him a couple of times if and how I should approach this, but nada.. I wonder...do I take his silence as acquiescence or disapproval...?

Has anyone with outdoor experience put any thought into the outdoors form?
