    working out ..jogging

so after a brief standstill, (due to some neck and back injuries).....i took off the neck brace yesterday, and went for a LIGHT walk/jog. It was really refreshing to get out of my house, i've been m.i.a for about a month and a half. So this morning i took my green tea, hehe, and did my exercise.
It seems like SO HARD to get back on a healthy track, but after that first workout...i feel SO much better! Anyone else get the same feeling?

Yeah. The first week or two is always the hardest. Once you get the routine down, it'll be easy.

I always feel much better after exercise/weight lifting too... more confident. It's a great feeling and is worth the hard work.

    Keep it up!

Yup the first week is always the toughest, which you should start off light and build up. You can't build Rome in a day.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres

The first week is always the hardest, but if you can keep it up for a month, you'll make it a habit - and there's nothing wrong with a healthy habit!

My job is way too energy-sapping to do and exercise at the same time, but it doesn't matter - arms, back, and legs all get toned, even if it's not part of a regimen. Only two more weeks before I quit and can start lifting and running again - boo yah! I can hardly wait. Now where'd I put my Rocky soundtrack...

The only supplement I use is Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard Whey Protein. It's filled with all the BCAA's that your body needs for protein synthesis... a serving is 100 cals... 1g fat... it's a very lean source of protein if you're not lactose intollerant seeing how it's derived from milk.

I can't believe that hemp powder has 14gs of fiber and 11 gs of protein!

A word of caution though. Start light and build to it. Even if it feels too easy, start light. I've gone back too fast a couple times and then I'm messed up and can't do anything. The damn humidity is messing with my damn back everyday (actually worse at night) right now, so I can't. But regular exercise and weight lifting makes me feel so much better, mentally and physically. Just start back slow.
