    New Piffy Palm Trees

Well I picked this up last Wednesday and it was still extremely fresh so I gave it some time to cure before I took my pictures. When I first received the bag it wreaked of swamp (sorry that??s the only smell I could compare it to). My sister was in the room and the first the she said when I opened the bag was, ??what is that smell?!? I think it might be Chronic x with a strain of Haze (that's just speculation though). It??s very sticky on the inside. If you try to break it up with your fingers you??ll only get chunks. Even if you use scissors it can be difficult. It has a knack for sticking on the blade. As you can see, it??s covered in cloudy and amber trichomes. On the outside (now that it has cured), the smells is complex? kind of like fresh potpourri and is very appealing to taste buds. Once you break it open, it has a cedar or spruce/floral sweet smell. It??ll have you smelling the jar even when you??re not smoking. I guess you could say it??s overwhelming. My boy grabbed a tree and brought it up to his nose. He must not have been ready for the smell because when he took a sniff it made him bring his head back. The taste doesn??t make you choke. It??s mild, smooth, and somewhat sweet on the tongue during the inhale and tastes extremely ??woody? on the exhale (my best taste experience was out of my friends 2.5?? bong). This stuff immediately clears up your sinuses. Once it has burned, the aroma reminds me of incense and stays in the air long after the smoke is through. You can feel it after the first hit. A relaxed sensation begins to settle in. After about 5 minutes, it gets a little wild. A high comes in out of no where, but only lasts for about 30-45... If you??re not ready it can be borderline psychedelic? Sights become vibrant and even the most minute sounds can be heard (this is great bud for music listening? it allows you to fully take in every note). It??s not too contemplative like the last two strains I??ve had. It allows your body and mind to relax with a nice (but not to racy) head high? just a peaceful feeling for nearly 2 ½-4 hours (depending upon how much is smoked). I haven??t had much paranoia or anxiety with this strain, but if you smoke too much it can knock you out and a trippy feeling will accompany it. Cotton mouth has also been a problem. There have also been countless times where I have smoked on a full stomach and immediately got the munchies after toking.

I really like this strain. I wasn??t too keen on it at first, but the cure made it something special. It??s not too psychedelic like the last few pickups, but there are some far out times during the high/stone. In small doses (smoked slowly) it??s very relaxing and that feeling stays with you for a long time.
