One of my friends is doing the internet dating thing as an ego boost. She has memberships to eHarmony and Match.
She says everyone on eHarmony seems very conservative and marriage-driven, almost DESPERATE for a ring.
She's having a TON of fun on Match, going out on a lot of dates, but finding few people who are interested in much more.
I still strongly believe that the best way to meet people is through your hobbies. I'm dating a dude who I met on here though- does that count as 'through hobbies' or 'internet dating'?

I have joined a few of them in the past month..just to see..to my surprise..the response has been huge..which is a great boost to my ego..like I need any of that. LOL it seems to me, that it is a good way to pre interview someone before you spend the time to go on a date. Most all have a profile and pictures, which is a good way to see how they look and then also how they write and think.. I havent met any women off of them yet, but am considering a couple Rating: 5
