best bet dont tell anyone if people do know your starting tell them u changed your mind, really from my experience dont trust anyone %100 especially when it could end u up in jail
a few peps know bout my grow but there people that sell stuff anyway so wouldnt ever dream of even havin a conversation with the feds
but seriously if no1 knows then youve got no way of getting busted unless you tell someone that tells someone and so on
oh and id get rid of your pic if thats you on your aviater as now anyone can see who you are an know your gonna grow

The best way to hide your IP is in plain sight: you use someone else's unsecured wireless router, in an entirely different building. That's what I do.

And you really think this makes your connection secure?

No offense, man, but cops can be stupid, but they're not THAT stupid. People freeloading of an unsecured router is quite common, and you can bet you're ass that any cop involved with computer related investigation knows it.

So, Mr. Cop decides sees your pictures of your most recent grow and decides he wants to check it out. He gets your IP info and traces it back to Sarah Jones, lawyer, age 63. He realizes immediately that she doesn't fit the profile of who he's looking for. So he goes out to the building and pops open his laptop and, sure enough, there's the unsecured router. So he can easily guess that poor Ms. Jones isn't the culprit.

But here's the real kicker...

Not only does finding this unsecurred router NOT mean the end of his search, finding it has just made his job a whole lot easier. Because if the router is unsecurred, so is every transmission you're making to it. It will take him less than 60 seconds to set up a connection with your computer and start capturing everything you transmit. And no, he doesn't need a warrant to do this, because anything that crosses the open air is considered to be in the public domain.

Oh, and one last pleasant thought....freeloading of someone else's wireless router, secured or otherwise, is a federal offense. As soon as he identifies you, he's got grounds to take you in for questioning, as well as for getting a warrant to seize your computer.

I told one guy and he was the guy who got me my seeds. Then I told him I flushed my seeds cause I got nervous. Now only my wife knows I am growing anything and that is how I am going to keep it. Personally this is just kind of common sense to not broad cast it.

Well thats personally what I did anyway.

But of course knowing my luck I will get popped anyways lol.

So if they wanna track me down by my IP address, that's fine, because it's actually a lawyer lady's IP address, and she does have a bad heart. If they burst into her home and it kills her, they'll be using their discretionary budget to pay off her family for *years*. Hell, even if it doesn't kill her, she'd still go into a lawsuit frenzy and take them for every dollar they have. Lawyers with unsecured routers are a stoner's best friend! She's not even the only lawyer in this neighborhood with an unsecured router either. Guy nearby is a prosecutor for the city. It'd be *hilarious* if someone burst into *his* house, because he's the guy who prosecutes possession cases.

lol i wouldn't worry about blocking your ip... if they are really really gonna pursue you, like have you selected.... your ip is easily still gotten... the feds have some of the best hackers working for them... they hold most hacking conventions, seriously...

just understand when there is a large cash flow, you get stupid, or nark'd, is when you get caught... i can talk all i want about whatever on the net... pics COULD fuck you... but again are you supporting the block, or you and a couple buddies

Start off by changing the "like 90%" to "Like 100%."

Use tor, and torbutton (for web surfing). Also, you might want to use an encrypted file system, and have thermite nearby, so you can fry your harddrive! Just kidding. Tor would be fine, as they would have a very difficult time getting your inf0z then.

In all reality, they would rather spend time trying to bust big grow ops, rather than small ones. But if they were bored, maybe they may look into you! Doubt it, though. Just make sure on the internet you are as anonymous as possible. Fake all the information you can, especially your IP address (by using proxy networks like Tor).
