I saw someone say that the joint loses so much smoke out of the lit end.... WELL, the thc vaporizes at a WAAAAAAY lower temperature than the burning of the vegetable materials. In other words, you only get the thc from the UNBURNED portion BETWEEN the cherry and your lips. You could just take the vapors from this portion and get just as high, it's just not possible to draw the air in without drawing the smoke in with it. Anyways, the smoke is NOT what gets you high. The THC has already been vaped at a temperature MUCH too low to make smoke. IOW, what is making smoke is the same stuff as what's left in a Volcano when you're done. If you rolled that up you could light it, and "waste" billows and billow of smoke, but so what? That's why if you breathe in the smoke from the burning end instead of passing that hot air through a layer of green, it does nothing and just tastes like dead animal ass and makes you cough. Try it. Catch that smoke in a glass or something and suck it in. GAG!
