I personally think that joints and blunts are the best way to smoke weed. Only because it's convenient to smoke while driving and it's easy to smoke just about anywhere without looking to much like weed to get you in trouble with the law. The only better way to smoke weed is through a bong and get huge ass bong rips! Those are nice.

hey buddy thats a pretty misleading or just flat out wrong comment there. all methods that turn pot to ash, do not burn ALL the thc, yes it does destroy some but theres still a good amount left in the smoke, hence why you get high. now if youre saying all methods release the same amount of thc, then youre still wrong, some methods of burning are more effective than others still.

also, according to a test done by NORML, in terms of thc per volume of smoke, joint are the most effective. HOWEVER! joints also have more extra crap in the smoke, since you end up burning the resin(since it coats the paper, rest of the weed in the joint as you smoke it) that would normally be collected on the inside of your bowl/bong(not to mention all that paper!). and from personal experience i tend to smoke about the same amount in a bong than i do in a joint, and usually get higher from that, not to mention i can visibly see that there is more tar left behind, than the minuscule amount left on the inside of the roach.

so on a one hit basis, of the same volume of smoke, the joint would have the most thc, but on a one session basis, with the same amount of pot, a bong would probably get you higher, and you'd end up inhaling less tars than a joint.

If you got a gram of weed. It has 22% thc. You burn the whole gram to ash.Q: Which method of taking heat to the bud WILL MAKE IT BURN more or less THC. A: None, the whole thing was burned(turned to smoke), all the bud, all the THC. If you use a bong you can take in more smoke then you can any other method cause the smoke is cooled. Water/Ice bongs are the best for taking is as much smoke as you can get in one hit.

Joints had the highest THC transfer rate last time i checked, which is from a website that isnt based on maybes or i thinks.

To anyone who thinks joints waste weed, even at the lit end, i think you should learn how to roll a good joint, and then think about it.

A well rolled joint doesnt waste and smoke, because a well rolled joint doesnt burn wildly at the end loosing lots of smoke, it should ember slightly with almost no smoke at all comming off the lit end, and when you toke, the embers light it up again. This is also part of the way of getting a joint to last much longer, just as long as a blunt and longer in some cases [size of blunt makes a differnce obviously, as does size of joint, but talking about a normal kingsize british cone joint.

∆9-THC is an organic compound (it contains carbon), just like the butane in your lighter, or the cellulose in the wood of a match. If you BURN it (combustion: combine with O2 gas in the air in the presence of heat from the lighter) it will break down and become CO2 and H2O. This is true for ANY organic compound. If you take a pile of pure THC and light it on fire, it will (almost) all be completely wasted. CO2 and H2O gas obviously do not get you high.

The reason bongs, pipes, and joints work is because the other organic material (cellulose, sugar, etc) in the bud is actually getting burned, and is heating the entire thing up so some of the THC vaporizes out. This is why joints and cherried bowls work so well: the cherry itself contains zero active THC. It is the bud just behind and around the cherry that is getting heated up, and releasing the intact THC into the smoke. Well-rolled joints (like LIP is referring to) will impart as much THC into the smoke as a well-packed bowl. This is also why a slow, milky bong rip is much more potent than a hot and fast one.

Has anybody noticed when they take a green hit off a pipe or bong, when the lighter flame touches the herb you can see the trichs go up in flame? That's wasted THC burning off into INACTIVE smoke. The best hits are slow, smooth, and cherry (which is why joints are nice-- they are just a good long small cherry) I hate touching the flame to the bud, it ruins the flavor and high of the bowl.

Scientifically speaking, a vaporizer is the best method of getting 100% THC intact into your lungs, without any combustion byproducts.
