you have a condition that the government deems fit to medicate with marijuana(usually chronic pain, glaucoma, chemo patients, or aids patients who take "cocktails" of different pharms(which make syou sick as a dog often).
besides, if 1/33 of canadians have a medical marijuana card, then it would be completely outlandish to suggest that no one on here has a card, considering that there are much more than 33 canadians on the board.

I have glaucoma and live in Canada... can I get a doctors' note for pot?
The thing is pot is supposed to be good for glaucoma, but there's a lot of regular medications which have no side effects and also take care of glaucoma, so I don't think any doctors are actually prescribing it.
But it would be cool to get it, especially seeing as how I actually have one of those conditions.

it all depends what condition and what doctor. my boyfriend has a card for being bi-polar, he just had to go to a doctor that is pro medical marijuana and get his records for being bi-polar, and of course pay a little bit to receive his card.

Ash, Koofteh's CANADIAN! So he has a whole different story. In California, he'd be a "shoo-in", but in Canada, it is quite difficult to find a doctor who is willing to sign a recommendation! Not everyone is lucky enough to live in Cali! Here all you need is a real illness and you're in! And yes, I am a legal California medical patient- Granny:hippy:

Well at least you don't really need it much up here in Canada in terms of nobody cares if you smoke out in the open.
But I guess medical weed would be cheaper and better as well?
