zombie comes into your house... to your left, you have a baseball bat... to the right you have a machette (as long as the bat) which do you choose? realisitcly too... forget brutal blood shed movies....

Well the book says machete actually and since its a little bit lighter and easier to conceal it will be better on the run after you kill the zombie

id pick the machete but im assuming the correct answer is baseball bat.

why?

machete can bend and get dull, baseball bat just tears things the fuck up. machete blade can chip and become a useless hunk of metal. why is it useless when dull....no weight behind it...itd be like spanking somebody, you would no longer be doing any damage.

but....is the baseball bat metal or wood.

reguardless of decay trying to chop off extremities (including head) would be damn near impossible... unless you could really just sit there and hack and put your weight into it...

baseball bat also has more weight, thus more trauma... you need a 1 hit kill thing when the enemy you face fears no pain nor feels it.... a baseball bat could easily crack the skull and splatter that brain... witha machette all you could do is prey the force you put behind a neck shot knocked the zombie back, so you can take another whack and hope that severes it's head...

a bat on the other hand... well you just need aim... one well placed blow would be loads more devastating....


and trust me.. unelss you got a rotten bat.... it ain't gonna break.. that shit won't crack on a healthy persons skull much less osmeone constantly rotting ...
