ok back to zombie talk!!!

zombie comes into your house... to your left, you have a baseball bat... to the right you have a machette (as long as the bat) which do you choose? realisitcly too... forget brutal blood shed movies....

this should be intresting.... after a couple have answered i'll reveal the logical answer and explain why

oh yeah running isn't an option, he's standing in hte door way, it's fight or die.

Well the book says machete actually and since its a little bit lighter and easier to conceal it will be better on the run after you kill the zombie
