bubblers with carbs hit well because there isnt as much area to clear, with a 2 foot bong theres a significantly greater amount of smoke in the chamber that you have to clear. Also with a carb if u suck hard enough it will still pull smoke in

what? they are both a hole, and when you pull the bowl out,its prolly gonna be hot,so i prefer carbs,i made my bong (a very nice home-made one) without a carb, then i didnt like holding the bowl,so i drilled a carb, and it works just as good.imho carbs are just as good if not better than slides.

but each unto his own. blaze on.

slides generally have a handle onto which you can hold instead of burning your fingers, another reason why slides are better is that you dont always have to use both hands while if you have a carb you need one hand to cover the carb and one to light the ganj.

I have a shitty pink acrylic bong with a carb, as others have posted the damn thing just can't be fully cleared for some reason.

I have a dual chambered bong with a carb, and I have never had a problem clearing it.

Slides break so damn easily, and the glass ones cost so damn much money to replace. The only remotely nice thing about a slide imo is that I can bring the bowl to the weed and not spill it alot easier.

I don't have any problems using a carb.. big hits that don't clear at once can be cured by not lighting the herb as long or touching as much with the flame in either.. Course mine's only like 8 inches long, so like one poster said previously, it's easy to just keep going until the bowl is gone.

As for that "page 2" bug, I've had that happen 4-5 times here in the last couple days.

this is the reason i ask :
GrassCity.Com - Molino Glass Bong Large - with Clear Glass Precooler

if that wasn't a carb, i would buy it right this second. i have a bubble bottom and beaker bottom that are slides as i said, but i want a straight tube. that is 4.2 mm thick, 45cm/17.7in tall, glass on glass (pyrex), with an ashcatcher, and ice catchers. for $85.00. that seems like a sick deal to me.

would i be really let down if i am used to a slide?
That is a slide bong. Maybe the ice catch looks like a carb or something, but that's a slide.

"This Molino diamond cut bong features a hexagonal base and ice notches. The bong consists of a cylinder with a carb-hole. The main cylinder is made over very thick Pyrex glass, 4.2 mm thick."
