So I've been wanting a dog for a while, and today we finally adopted one. His name is Peter. We cant pick him up from the shelter to bring him home until tomorrow though because the shelter has to talk to our land lord. I'm really excited though!

I think it's great when people adopt from shelters. There are so many helpless dogs in there, it really is sad to see. I wish I could buy a huge farm with a bunch of land and adopt them all

Very beautiful. they have this thing in Houston where thays have an adoption drive, the have dogs and cats on crates or leashes on the side of the road and ppl can walk by and adopt a pet. they kno once u see their beautiful faces u cant not take one or seven home. i cant go to a shelter cause I've already got four, and i want to take everyone home and end up leaving in tears.

Cute dog! And it's cool how you are saving him from the pound. My last two pets I got from the pound, and i'm glad I did. I think they were both last chance.
