No no no the best way is this:
Materials:
1. get a large bowl big enoiugh to submerge your piece in.
2. Fill it with hot water
3.can with a plasitc top. ex. pringles can, coffee can
4. coffee filter
5.Paper clip
Procedure:
take your piece submerge it in the bowl of hot water. leave it there for like two minutes take it out and pour out all the water back into the bowl. there should be black resin coming out. now take the paper clip and scrape the bowl. repeat this process 3 to 5 times or untill u have a lot of black resin in the bowl of water. take the can and cut the bottom out of it so it is just a cylinder with a plasic top. now cut the center out of the plastic top. take the coffee filter and put it on the top of the can and secure it by snaping the plastic top on it. so it should be a can with a filter on one end held in place by the top. now take the device u made out of the can and place it in the sink or somewhere with drainage. pour the water in your bowl through the filter slowly. you should see the resin colecting on the filter. then un hook the filter and kinda form all the pieces of resin together making one big piece of resin. and there you go smokable resin.
