tobacco juice for common pests?
Tobacco extract is effective against pests but I personally would avoid it for the risk of Tobacco Mosaic Virus.
It's unlikely, but possible.
Neem, garlic, fish oil, pyrethrin, citrus oil, and hot pepper sprays are all organic (check the label for OMRI listing if you would like to be strict) and should not carry the potential for disease.foxysox Reviewed by foxysox on . tobacco juice for common pests? i dont have the problem yet, but i am lookin forward to prevent it. soon i will have to bring in some plants from outdoors(several types, houseplants ect.) they will/might be in the same room. the question is, does tobacco juice work on mites and common pests in a grow enviroment? i have plenty of tobacco because the dried out stuff in the bottom of the bag isnt good for smoking anyway, could i make a tea out of this and expect to have good results with bug controll?
