tobacco juice for common pests?
i dont have the problem yet, but i am lookin forward to prevent it. soon i will have to bring in some plants from outdoors(several types, houseplants ect.) they will/might be in the same room. the question is, does tobacco juice work on mites and common pests in a grow enviroment? i have plenty of tobacco because the dried out stuff in the bottom of the bag isnt good for smoking anyway, could i make a tea out of this and expect to have good results with bug controll?

it doesnt bother me if something isnt completly organic, i just like to try and stay mosly organic.lol, with all the booze i drink and cigs i smoke, i have to make up for it somewhere. i knew about neem oil, thanks though. i was just curious how well tobacco worked. luckily ive never had a bug problem, except for gnats once. ill want to be carefull not to jinx myself. i have too many house plants for the amout of windows i have so i was thinking that just leaving them in the room with the lights will keep them healthy through the winter. im just about ready to move my vegging mother and a few clones back indoors before the start to flower, which will be soon.

tobacco juice for common pests?
Tobacco extract is effective against pests but I personally would avoid it for the risk of Tobacco Mosaic Virus.
It's unlikely, but possible.
Neem, garlic, fish oil, pyrethrin, citrus oil, and hot pepper sprays are all organic (check the label for OMRI listing if you would like to be strict) and should not carry the potential for disease.

i have never thought of mosaic virus, but as of yet i still dont have bugs.(knock on wood, lol)i just new it was suposedly what some people used.(nicotine kills bugs) and it is a natural tobacco with no additives. i dont know about pesticides though. looks like cigs are getting another tax hike real soon. we bought a machine and buy bags of tobacco and tubes, it is less than half the price of buying prepackaged smokes and none of the taxes.
