Congratulate me, just been stoned for the first time!

Hi everybody!

A couple of days ago I was stoned for the first time in my life, :thumbsup: and I want to tell it to someone. So here's my story... I was at my big sister's apartment, for a sleepover party. I turn 18 in a few months, so I live with my parents still. We had been out and bought some hash, when we came home my sister prepared it (heated and mixed it with tobacco). Then I put on some music, and we sat in the sofa and shared the joint. At first I didn't notice much, I was just talking about the music etc. Then I felt quite relaxed, so I laid down on the sofa. The last thing I remember then, was my sister giving me a knowing look and a grin, asking me if I was stoned. Then she said something that made me laugh, and I couldn't stop laughing! I just laughed more and more, everything seemed so amusing. In the background I could hear my sister going "Oh my god, my little sister is stoned! Where's my phone, I gotta get this on camera. I gotta call [a friend of hers]!" Or something like that. Everything was a blur, it was like I was dreaming and awake at the same time, sort of. I was lying on the sofa, laughing and gasping for air, laughing even more by the fact that I was stoned out of my mind... :S5: After a while I managed to sit up and talk to my sister a bit, then I lay down again. And now I really noticed the music we were listening to. It was Kyuss - Welcome to Sky Valley. Lovers of stoner rock and stoner metal will know that that album is the perfect soundtrack for a cannabis high. The music sort of just washed over me, I could hear every instrument and detail of the song, and it felt so good! I could literally feel it tickling my nerves. I was lying with eyes closed, and I was seeing pictures in my head very rapidly, it was like a slide show. As I was listening to the lyrics I saw pictures in my head that were illustrating the lyrics. It was all very weird and delightful. There was particularly one song that gave resonance within me, and that was "Demon Cleaner". At the end of the song John Garcia sings:

I remember a slight feeling of epiphany rushing through me as I listened to those words. "Yes! This is the only way! How can there be another way? Has there ever been another way? This cleanses away demons, it saves madmen, it bleeds freedom. It has cleansed away my demon." This is maybe not what I was thinking word perfect, and maybe the thoughts came in a different order, but roughly, this is what I was thinking. Around this time I said to my sister, "If all the people in the world smoked hash, there would be no wars". Nuff said.

So, I hoped you enjoyed my story. I'm new here, but maybe I'll drop by once in a while. I have a very strong feeling it's not the last time I'll get stoned. I'm dying to try pot, and see if it's different from hash. See ya.

Ha ha, yeah, I know now that this is how it was meant to be all along. :jointsmile: The Norwegian government has to legalise this now! Everybody should do this. I mean, how can we leave this decision to a herd of ignorant, "god fearing" people (this includes my mother) who have never been stoned, and never tried to enjoy life? They don't know what they are talking about, who are they to decide? So alcohol and tobacco, which kill thousands of people every year, are perfectly legal, while cannabis, which has never reportedly caused a death, is illegal and despised? Sometimes I'm completely horrified by how categorically narrowminded and ignorant the sheeps that make up the Norwegian government (or any government, for that matter) are.

Anyway, I have one question, which I hope one of you can answer. How do you get your signature (quote, proverbs, pics and stuff) under each post? I've looked under User Control Panel and everywhere, but I can't find it. I know, I know, very lame of me, duh... :wtf: Maybe it's the hash from yesterday that's making me think slowly... I would appreciate it if someone could take time to initiate me in this mystery.
