being hassled by some random phone number, AH!

+25473694**** (left out last 4 digits to avoid breaking any rules) is calling me from anywhere 10-20 times a day, all times of the night and morning.

ive answered it a few times, theres two beeps and then what sounds to be an Indian guy answers.

before i can say anything he says "Is this Marcy?"

i tell him it is not, that ive been using this phone number for like 5 years now.

when i first got this number i did get calls for a marcy but i just told them its not her number anymore and they stopped calling.

this guy just keeps calling... same guy, not different people. i called my cellphone company and they said the ONLY thing they can do is change my number... what bullshit. and my phone doesnt have anyway to block numbers.

    need advise or suggestions...

oh ya, on a few occasions i asked to speak to his boss, and he hangs up on me.

Blow a whistle every time he calls. It should hurt his ears. Or talk crazy to him. Maybe you'll scare him away. Other than that I feel bad for ya hun.

"Blow a whistle" I haven't heard that one before. I ought to do that when those pesky telemarketers phone the house.

There are also services like Intellius who can do a reverse directory search on it and give you a name and address. It will cost you a few bucks, but knowing who it is might be the first step in getting him to stop. - Granny:hippy:

Well maybe you should just change your number, unless it's too much hassle. I mean if your number is used for business I know it would be annoying having to change it...but...If its only gonna take a few texts to say "this is my new number" then whats the big deal? You can order free simcards off the internet now-a-days...we are talking about a mobile phone here right?

dude just start talking to him about how you're going to south america to make rugs and you're hoping to 'start over' there, and you're sorry for what happened to neil, but it's time to move on, that you're moving on, and he should too...see what that does, brother

Start talking really dirty to him. Make him so uncomfortable he wont call again. Or just simply and very rudely say " STOP F***ING CALLING ME OR I WILL EAT YOUR F***ING HEART!". Sorry for the cussing but it gets the point across.

Keep talking and go quieter and quieter and quieter... then, as loud as you can, go "KSHHHHH" into the receiver. Or put the phone right by your speakers and turn them up all the way. Death metal is your friend here.
