bigger leaves?

well I topped my plant at around a foot at the 5th node and the leaves just under it were still immature (didn't know not to top above immature leaves). The leaves got about 2x as large as all the other leaves. anyways it has been about two days and I am only noticing a little brancing out. I've only got a 60-watt "grow light" (the blue color). i gave it some 10-15-10 fertilizer, about 4 drops out of a pipette. the larger leaves have seemed to stop, but just wondering if that is an uncomon occurence or not.

when anyone snips the top off at over the 5th node--- next best thing to do is give it more light. 1 60w bulb is not enough anymore. you are starting flower when you open your girl up to the bright sky for more tops. you are trying to make more than 1 flower at the top by cutting it off aren't you? use another bulb now with your favourite 60w, then as your tops shoot up even more light as they grow. have fun.....it'l work with more light for sure.
