No im no commie just because i posted 2 thread about russians and usa....its just the fact we arnt the superpower we once were and everyone loves us, not like russia didnt love us b4...........:hippy: so we need to bomb russia as well for any1 who disagrees wit the usa will suffer... errr wait-- russia has nukes they be safe from our criminal regime:thumbsup:

Thousands of Pro-Putin youth activists attending a summer camp in central Russia have been hearing warnings that western values are "evil".

Members of NashiThe movement is called Nashi which means "Ours". It was set up in 2005 to combat Western styled colour revolutions.

Its founder, Vasiliy Yakemonko, says it also aims to change the world order and make Russia great again.

The camp is held in a forest by the side of a lake, 250 miles north of Moscow. Ten thousand members have pitched tents and take part in a range of activities, including lectures in politics.

The messages in these classes are overtly anti-western.

Comparing Putin's Russia to the United States under Bush is laughable. Yeah, yeah I know -- Bush is evil and a facist (sarcasm font). Putin's new Russia is essentially a facist nation: welcomes big business, strong arms corporations who do not march in step with the government, squashes free speech, puts its citizens in prison for simply opposing the regime, and rigged elections.

Putin, minus his nukes, are the "sick man of Eurasia." If not for their stockpile of destruction, they would be nothing.

these particular lines caught my eye and reminded me of another organization you might recall. started in the 1920s in a germany ravaged by the first world war, it too promised prosperity, a new world order and a return to former glory. i think we all remember how that turned out.

^Thats exactly what i thought. History has a funny way of repeating itself. If we were smart I say we dont let Russia even THINK about becoming a huge world power like they were during the Soviet Union.

oh, i've got nothing against the idea of competing superpowers. i'm just extremely wary of the whole rabid nationalist thing. i find it disconcerting, no matter what the intentions behind it.

I dunno, I think the US has enough problems as it is. With the middle east and china and shit. All we need now is Russia thinking its this huge super power. that seems to be the nature of international politics and, to a certain extent, life in general. your friends are only faithful as long as you are useful to them.
