Even if you think you can drive just as well or better when you're high what happens if you get into an accident and then the cops knows you're high even if it wasn't caused by the weed you'll be in deep shit because it's easy to argue that that's exactly what happened.

I usually do it with no problem. Only once I was so stoned I couldn't feel my feet (I didn't realize how stoned I was until I had to actually use my braincells for something, lol) so I had to drive real slow to the party.
