I'm addicted to caffeine.
I work a very tiring job. I'm 17 and do landscaping until college starts in the fall. My uncle owns this company and gives me many hours. Surprisingly the pay is very good for me, even with a few monthly expenses. However, waking up at early hours and coming home very tired has caused my caffeine intake to sky rocket. I wake up every morning at 6:30 (I miss waking up at 11, ahh, the good old days) so naturally I need a little boost to get me going.
My morning coffee has gone from 1 cup to sometimes 2 or even 3 cups. Coming home, I'm exhausted, but to keep up with my social life I'll take another cup or two to keep me going.
If I go out at night, I have to go to a Tim Hortons or any other coffee shop and get some black coffee, or else I'll feel dead tired.
Yesterday, I tried not taking coffee after coming home from work, and I ended up falling asleep at 6pm and waking up at 8pm, or around that time.
I woke up at 7am this morning (I only realized at 8am it was my day off.) It's now 11:40am and I'm on my third cup.
Stupid coffee is so addicting and yet so good.
Anybody been in a similar situation? How was it like and what did you do? I've heard of people getting violent if they don't get their coffee and thank Joe Pesci I'm not like that.poiuyt Reviewed by poiuyt on . I'm addicted to caffeine. I work a very tiring job. I'm addicted to caffeine.
Be careful. Like all addictions, it takes more and more to get your fix. Soon, you'll be drinking coffee just to feel normal.
Caffeine is an extremely addictive and powerful stimulant. People don't realize how much so.
Good luck with this one, and watch out or you'll be like the other Starbuck's zombies out there.

I'm addicted to caffeine.
Pretty simple, start drinking half caffeine for a few weeks, SLOWLY get yourself down to 1 cup in the morning and 1 in the evening. Once you can successfully do that, switch your evening cup to decaf and still do half caf in the morning (you can buy half caf btw)
then eventually ur having 1 cup of half caffeine in the morning and youll be able to have it or not have it at your own regard
personally ive been drinking coffee forEVER and some days I will literally pouind it all day, some days i wont drink any at all. I dont know why but its never had an addictive effect on me, and i even have a pretty addictive personality (i consider myself somewhat addicted to reefer in the summertime cause I flip a shit when I go dry for more than a day or so. winter i smoke if i can but i dont care that much about weed in the winter cause theres a lot more important shit that i gotta take care of in winter)
