Harvest time !!

I have now harvested the first of my BlueberryxSkunk plants, not an impressive harvest as it was hit with powdery mildew at 3-4 weeks, but the bud looks great and smells very friuty and funky. I cannot wait 'till it is dried, so I can smoke some of it. The other BBxSK has like 4-5 weeks to go, but is looking lots better than the one I cut down today.


I'll take some pics later tonight, I'm gonna get blazed now...

ahhh..... its a celebration day for u, size of the harvest doesn't matter when u got more plants ont he way. those buds look nice and they will serve u well and thats what matters. Good buds man.

The other BBxSK (blueberryxskunk) that I have flowering right now would yield more than this if I cut it right now, at only 4 weeks... But when it's finished I expect 2-3 Oz. on this plant I used my 150W HPS and the 175W Mercury Vapor for it's UV-B output, UV-B helps the plant produce MORE THC. The rest of my plants are now under my new 400W HPS, the 175W MV, and the 150W HPS as well. More light=More bud

If I may ask how hot does this light run- 175W Mercury Vapor ( UV-B output) ...call me curious... how close can you get these to a plant? thx- peace

The MV bulb can be as close as 6" from the tops, MV is the coolest running of the HID family, but still if you touch it while running it will burn you. I have gotten overspray from foliar feeding on the bulb before and it didn't blow up or anything like a HPS would. I like the color corrected bulb, also called soft white for flowering, the spectrum is better, as it does produce useable light for photosynthesis, just not as much as other HID does, but the UV-B triggers the plant to produce THC as a defence to the UV radiation, or at least that is what I understand from my reading.

;have you heard of a SBML lamp? somewhere i'm watching it try to flower up a plant and side light others at the same time. its a self-ballasting 160W grow bulb and hard to find now i heard. about 6-8'' above and about a foot beside the others, and it dont need a reflector.;it used to be one of the best used in the .60's-70's indoor grow bulb is all i'v heard.
