Newb Nute Question

so i got a bunch of different liquid nutes from the hydro store the other day(i'm growing in soil by the way) and the i forgot to ask the guy at the store how exactly to feed my plants.

Kool- whatchya got? What's the media?

on the bottle it says to use like 2 tsp for every gallon of water.

If in doubt, use 1/2 strength- work up from there

am i supposed to mix these nutes with water when i put them in the soil?

Usually you're gonna dilute them w/ water and then water the plants with the solution you've made.

also, i never give my plants a whole gallon of water when i do water them, so how do i figure out how much nutes to give them?

With most things you can just make up a stock solution to use as needed- some organics will get rancid if you let them sit for long after mixing.

Worst comes to worst, mix by the gallon and dump the rest. Or do the math to get the quart dosage, and mix quarts- PITA.
