I watched a program on the ruling class on TV, a documentary (sundance channel). Very scary stuff. All the insiders have been members of the tri-lateral commision or some position in federal government. Us on the outside don't have a chance of changing the system and those on the inside don't want to, to be accepted, you must go to an Ivy league school, Harvard, Yale, Princeton etc., get 4.0 grades, and then be asked in by some son of a member. None of us commoners need apply.

Yup, we agree. The guy was a bully and someone had enough and just said fuck you and shot him in the head. then to save embarassment, the seargeant covered it up and the leutenant and the major just went along, once past the field report, it was considered the facts. The M-16 set on a 3 tap setting could produce 3 holes in the forehead from 10 yards as there is hardly any recoil before they are out of the barrel. Or one at 10 yards and then the other two after he was down. It would take a lot of hate to stand over a downed guy and put two holes in his forehead.

WASHINGTON â?? â?? The Army on Tuesday censured a retired three-star general for the chain of errors that followed the friendly-fire death in 2004 of Army Ranger Pat Tillman. It referred to a special panel whether retired Army Lt. Gen. Philip Kensinger should also have his rank reduced.

Army Secretary Pete Geren told a Pentagon news conference that Kensinger was "guilty of deception" and had deceived investigators.

"It's a perfect storm of mistakes, misjudgments and a failure of leadership," said Geren in announcing his decision after an investigation into the death of the former pro football player.

The general bore the brunt of the punishment. Nine other officers were criticized but not punished.

Although it was a terrible thing and needs to be brought out in the open, I'm sure there are a few more "friendly fire" deaths that need investigation also. If Tillman was the bully as reported, maybe he deserved some come uppance, but execution is not an option. That was either mistaken Identity, or a planned attack. Wonder which it will turn out to be?

This is absolutely bullshit. Though the government has some things to fix it is definitely not killing its own soldiers. I respect our country very much and it is almost a damn disgrace to hear something like this. Who ever wrote this article was obviously vigorously against the war. Giving an immediate bias opinion. Some people are just upset about people dying in war, but ladies & gentlemen we are not going to go just shake hands, war is a nasty game. What better way to find more evidence to impeach bush then to say he put a hit on a Football player. They never took in fact conditions of the weather when he was killed, or the whole scenario. To me this seems to be a tragic case of Friendly Fire. I mean come on you think the most powerful nation in the world can't cover up one murder, when hundreds of morons believe that they covered up the world trade center. This shit is ridiculous all of it. Maybe if our damn country wasn't growing up as spoiled and fucking ignorant as they are today then maybe we would have more appreciation for what great of a country we live in. We all could be living in an AIDS infested Africa or a Communist Korea.
