marijuana law reformI support NORML with money contributions. I also supported the "yes on 2" act in Alaska.
we got 44 percent of the vote, not quite enough. I am actually going to speak before the state Senate in opposition of a bill that would re-criminalize marijuana. It is already probably not going to pass, and if it does the court will overturn it, as they did in 92.

marijuana law reformlaws are gradually becoming more lenient, and innevitably they'll have to give in (as long as that might take) . the bible belter fundamentalists may have a lot of power right now, but society has to evolve (even if good fellows like bush stunt it's growth). besides, kids are trusting the propogandists less and less as they're seeing reality compared to the bullshit they're fed. \"Nirvana is the extinction of self\" - Buddha

marijuana law reformlook ppl it doesnt matter how much money you send or how many people you have to back you up, look i want weed to be legal just as much as any one but lets face it it cant happen until we get some honest politicions, the government makes more money off marijuana being illegal then they would if they made it legal, they allow a certian amount of drugs into the country if the drug dealers have enough money, and they do, thats another thing every time a bill to legalize marijuana comes up, the drug dealers pay polititions to fake the results.

marijuana law reformIt's cool to support orgs lobbying in our behalf. Join and give if you can. But orgs like NORML have been around for many years, and they can't get it done by themselves.

I believe that the strategy for reform is similar to what is happening w/Gay Marriage .....

 1) Find some liberal state legislatures willing to reform their laws (MMJ, decriminalize/legalize use of MJ).

 2) People then flock to those states and take advantage of laws before the FEDS can come in and throw everybody in jail. This is where WE come in.

The important votes are for state legislators in lib states (Cali/Ore/Colo...) and president (chooses federal judges n supreme court ).
