I'm glad you did. I was really scared. Not because of the surgery itself but because of my heart rhythm and potential complications from that. Fortunately it was uncomplicated. This all affected my thinking ahead of time, though, about getting that Kool-Aid in the mail beforehand. I think this is a mom thing, too. I was bound and determined that I'd have all my "kids" taken care of, by golly, before I went under that anesthesia. In the case of my own son, we'd made peace about a summer-long laundry battle and gotten all his piled-up laundry taken care of. Didn't want to go to my grave having anyone think I'd been a bad or inattentive mother/laundress.

i gotta say ive always wanted to try this kool aid but a CUP of sugar?!? sick man i like sugar but the thought of that goes through me a bit.. of course it depends on the size of the cup but still.

there should be a thread for foreign foodstuffs they're that good, when i went to america i had a pretty bad binge on : dunkin doughnuts, massive pretzels, pretty much every interesting looking sweet and snapple, yummo.

zino11 is very right. Hot water helps disolve the sugar immensely!!! I can't believe you guys don't have kool-aid!! I'm going to have to investigate the possibillity of acquire-ing the sole distributor rights of this fine fruitty powder. thanks 2 birdgirl for inspiring the idea

Sometimes, ya gotta fool around with the sugar and water to get it to your personal liking. And Ice always makes it better.

Now I'm wishin we had some grape kool aid in the house but I did find fruit punch and mystery flavors.

LIP, darling, you weren't being ignored or singled out by not receiving a gift of fruity American drink mix. It's simply that Cannabis and I were talking about it on a thread and he was curious about what it was. He asked me about it via email. I was facing my spinal surgery, and I thought, by golly, the boy needs to try Kool-Aid, and I got it in the mail the day before my surgery in case there was some sort of terrible fatal accident. Had to fulfill the simplest wish of one of my can.com friends so he'd remember me fondly if I'd never returned!!
