Washington - Cindy Sheehan (SHEEâ??-han) has been arrested for disorderly conduct in Congressman John Conyersâ?? office at the US Capitol.

The anti-war activist was taken into custody yesterday.

She had spent an hour there imploring the Michigan Democrat to launch impeachment proceedings against President Bush and Vice President Cheney.

Sheehan said Conyers told her there werenâ??t enough votes for impeachment to move forward. Sheehan later said she would run against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi because the California Democrat has refused even to try.

Forty-5 of Sheehanâ??s fellow protesters also were arrested. A Capitol Police spokeswoman says the activists could each pay a $50 fine to be released.

the woman has my sympathy for losing her son, that's a pain no parent should feel, but she is nearing the point where I expect to read where she has been institutionalized ... her poor son must be rolling around in his grave, with her staining the memory of his bravery, and dedication to protecting the rest of us ... and, selfish liberals are paying the bills, to keep her up in front, making a damned fool of herself ... I am glad to see that she is standing up to this bullshit govt. I heard that Conyers was trying to get impeachment hearing goings WHICH NEED TO HAPPEN. I wrote to him and my congressman that they should move forward with the impeachment process.

Lets see, Clinton fucked an intern and got impeached. Bush fucked many nations and killed innocents and goes free. He must be a "daddy's boy" than.

If it weren't for people like her with the guts to stand up against tyranny, the penalty for drug possession (Pot included) would be death. Too bad you can't recognize the need for reformers in times of crises as we are in now. Our democracy stands on the edge of a precipice, with dictatorship at the bottom and is leaning over the edge and you disrespect a true patriot that confronts the evil. Hmmm, I wonder how you'd react if your son was killed in this blood for oil agression?- And BTW, thank the lord she has the funds to carry out her crusade. The government knows most of us serfs have to work for a living and don't have time to protest, remember, Divide and conquer. They are trying to do away with our right to assemble. Last time I checked, you can't have freedom, while restricting freedom at the same time (Patriot Act). lol. Ummm....it kind of....doesn't.....make......any sense????? Please correct if I am wrong though! Please!

Not all of us are stupid as Bush thinks we are. hehe. Oh no. They will be shocked. Rest assured, Bush is being monitored. He's merely allowed to do what he does. Nothing more. But he is not the one with all the power as he thinks.

What we need to do is bring our troops home from this quagmire in Iraq and impeach Bush, Cheney and the other neo-cons for their crimes against humanity. Than we can all read the US Constitution out loud.

I had a FANTASTIC day yesterday! Put over 100 miles on the bike, had a good time with the lady and went out to a friends house last night doing our thing. Patriot act didn't get in my way at all.
