I will blow off work early to go fishing with a grow buddy in central VT.

Yup

Then I will drive a couple hours north and spend the rest of the weekend -you guessed it- fishing with my old co-worker in the Northeast Kingdom and getting climbed all over by his 8 rabbit dogs.

I will probably NOT catch anything good, lol. I probably WILL catch a buzz off cheap beer (Black Label ftw!) and get a sunburn.

Yup- I caught ONE single pathetic fallfish. I don't feel too bad because my friend who has fished that spot for 20 years caught nothing. And the night was beautiful, an almost-full moon and still, warm summer air. And the beer was cold. Cold beer ftw!

I very likely will flip over my kayak at least once due to my complete lack of balance while blazed.

Amazingly this did not happen... but ONE boat got flipped over...

Saturday, instead of fishing the Norhteast Kingdom, I just chilled closer to home, took the boats out, and CLAMBAKED A CANOE. Upside down. In the water. My friend Donk's idea. Worked like a charm. It was pouring rain and we had to keep the joint dry SOMEHOW... and that involved sealing it in something waterproof and diving with it... I love summer in New England.
